Taoism, Yin/Yang, Enlightenment

Going back to the notion of yin/yang and Tao, I do not believe I have an accurate understanding of them, or how they fit in my metaphors, and it maybe others need to evolve and improve upon my framework, or replace it with a better one completely. I consider this a scientific spirituality, humanism. I have tried to detach from harmful superconscious beings, but have not done so completely. But I do try to feel the most attachment to my identity as a human, to embrace humanity and let the Human super-consciousness manipulate me, to avoid manipulation by others that are less aligned with my own values.

On some level, I think we are all puppets (except those that meditate to a state of nirvana). It is this puppetry which Buddha viewed as suffering, and which comes from desire. See, we like a horse being ridden towards a destination that is not of our choosing. We are moved by other conscious beings (superconscious, subconscious, etc.) that manipulate us the way we choose how to manipulate our own fingers and mouth and brain. We are beasts of burden. To get us to that destination, our riders have various tools. They can dangle a carrot in front of us, they can whip us with stick, they can nudge us with their knees, they can tell us where to go, or maybe we sometimes see the destination ourselves and decide we want to go there and they need do nothing as we are aligned with them. But we ultimately get where they want us to go. Taoism is largely the art of learning to move where we are supposed to go from minor nudges from the rider, going with the flow. A lot of us still need the carrots and sticks. But if you do not want carrots, you do not want to be free of being hit by sticks, you do not want anything, there is nothing any rider can do to manipulate you. Each desire, each want, that attaches you to the external world attaches you to a super-consciousness that can manipulate you. If you free yourself from all desires, you are only attached at the "rear" at the base of the ladder, through the lower levels of consciousness to the Dao...Okay, using Dao no longer seems correct since it now seems like the omniscient loving force that rises up through the levels of consciousness through wisdom and soul is only half of a dichotomy, and I think Dao is best used to describe an overall singularity, so gotta try for a more limited word for this positive side. Maybe Dao-Light. I think Dao is all, singularity, but then the first level fractal is splitting it into Dao-Light and Dao-Dark. Then further fractals. Life is Dao-Light and includes love, wisdom... Have not reflected much on Dao-Dark... Future study necessary. Anyway, Buddha achieved one-ness with Dao-Light, felt the pure love and wisdom from having only attachment and motivation from one direction, no conflict, only right action without internal dissent. It is a nice feeling. I was there for a few days. Nirvana. It seems possible to sever attachments to Dao-Light and exclusively connect to Dao-Dark. Then be evil like Darth Vader. Yes, the Star Wars connection is inescapable. Not sure Buddha had complete enlightenment though since he was only connected to Dao-Light, not to the eternal Dao. (Hell, how do I know that? Speculation much? Seems to fit his description, thought.) This brings us to a major issue: We create the universe with our expectations and thoughts. The reason we have not yet heard radio signals from other planets and galaxies and solar systems that should have life sending them out is those things only came into existence when we started imagining them. Our observations collapse the waves of reality in the universe, and the rest of the universe is all waves until we get there and observe it. Moreover, we decide how to collapse the wave. Meaning, we choose how to resolve each unanswered question. So scientist do not discover scientific truth, they create it. Because our expectations literally choose how the waves of uncertainty for reality collapses, our expectations are very precious and important. That is why media control is so critical in modern society. It is not about deciding who you elect as president, but what you decide will be the future of reality. We are the tip of the knife cutting through a soft clay and deciding how to carve it, what shape, what to make of it. We eat imagery and ideas, digest it, and shit out the next chapter of reality. I bring this up because Star Wars was such a huge cultural force, and fantasy genre in general, supernatural, we are creating a new age where we will "discovery" latent or new abilities that allow some type of magic. I think we have created a future where spiritual truth now aligns with Star Wars principles with a force that has a light side and dark side. I'm not at all sure that was inevitable, but think it was a product of our mass creative force at work as we unknowingly decide what the future will hold for us. It would not surprise me if people learn they can manipulate matter and energy in ways using the light or dark Dao/force or in other ways. Magic is more real now because of everyone reading so much fantasy. We "discovery" rational explanations for it, but we are really CREATING rational explanations to bring these things into existence. The point is, be careful what you wish for. And, to the extent what we expect derives from what we have experienced, we need to watch what we "eat" in terms of media consumption. It would be best to avoid consumption of media that will lead us to expect the worst. We can create an ideal future if enough people consume healthy psychological input so that their expectations create a healthy future. No, I do not want thought police or thought control, it needs to be voluntary. Geez, this new age is friggin' complicated. Good luck with all that. I'm probably going to check out, go back to an enlightened state of oneness with the Tao-Light, like Buddha. But for now, I don't mind the current ride, the carrots look good, the sticks are gentle (or maybe I'm a bit of a masochist), and the rider not too heavy. But if that changes, we do have that escape option, let go of all worldly desire and attachment and find nirvana.
